Problem session credit

We will have 3 mid-term exams. The grade for the problem session will be based on these mid-terms. Each mid-term will consist of 8-10 problems similar or identical to the exercises from the lists.
The problems lists will be published every Friday, a week ahead of the problems session on which they will be discussed. The lists will be distributed in class, and they will also appear on this web page.

Final exam

The lecture will end with a final exam, which will have a similar format to the mid-terms (similar number of problems, similar level of difficulty). You can only take the final after you have obtained the credit for the problem sessions.

Exams schedule:

Mid-terms:
The mid-terms will be held on the last hour of the problem session (14:15-15:00) on the following Fridays: Nov. 19, Dec. 10, Jan. 14.
Final:
The final will be held on Wednesday, February 2, 10-11 in room 140.
