We present Poisson type limit theorems for a noncommutative independence (the bm-independence), which is naturally associated with positive symmetric cones in euclidian spaces, including $\R_+^d$ and the Lorentz cone in Minkowski spacetime. The geometry of the cones plays significant role in the study as well as the combinatorics of bm-ordered partitions.
